I didn't think I would be reviewing a dry cleaner, especially of all places, in SHANGHAI; but here I am. I found Clothe Spa after searching for a place that would take care of my laundry without, eh hemmm, taking me to the cleaners. David’s Clothes Spa was the place! He's friendly, speaks perfect English and also very knowledgeable about Shanghai, if you need help with getting around.
Anyway, so this is the place for your laundry needs! The price which is 59 RMB for 5 kilos of clothes is extremely reasonable and they would even pickup and deliver back the next day. This beats the hell out of the exorbitant fees hotels charge for laundry. And you clothes arrive back to you perfectly folded and in these fancy tissue paper that high class boutiques use.
I'm glad I decided to try Clothe SPA, after using another Shanghai neighborhood dry cleaner for several years. The proprietor David Ho is friendly, his complimentary pick and delivery service is convenient, his service is superb, he provides a laundry bag, he remembers my name, and the quality of his shirt laundry and cleaning is the best I've seen; Smoothest starch I’ve experienced on a shirt.
